Mold Maintenance Technician - Level 1
A Mold Maintenance Technician (Level 1) is a manufacturing worker who is responsible for cleaning, assembling and dissembling molds. Molds are typically used for injection molding or casting of plastics and other materials. The Technician will also perform inspections on mold components and repair any damage to the mold or machinery. The Technician, as part of the Maintenance team, will also evaluate molds to determine the root cause of relatively simple to medium molding issues. This position can lead to a career in mold making and mold design.

CNC Machinist (Level 1) Women Plus
A CNC machinist is specially trained to set-up and operate CNC Machines. He or she uses expert knowledge to set up machines that are capable of cutting, bending, forming, and polishing raw metal into finished parts and tools. Metal parts used to be cut and molded by hand. Today, a CNC machinist reads and interprets blueprints and work orders, inputs data into the CNC machine, monitors production, makes careful adjustments, and inspects the accuracy of a machine's operation and resulting parts.

Here‘s what you can expect during the assessment process that will take approximately 60-90 minutes (to be completed in one sitting):

  • You will be asked to provide your name, email and a telephone number so that we can communicate with you.
  • You will be asked to provide your date of birth, gender and demographic information such as education and income level.
  • You will be asked to complete a number of online tests that will measure some of your current competencies and skills.
  • This assessment process is designed to be fair and objective.
  • Example questions will be provided to show you how a test works and allow you to practice.
  • If the results of this assessment process indicate that your current capabilities, competencies and attributes are a good fit with one or more of the employers offering Training Programs, you will be invited to an in-person or telephone interview.
  • If the assessment process shows a significant gap in one or more competencies, you may have the opportunity to sign up for some free coaching that would be directed at your specific competency gaps. If this applies to your assessment, you will be contacted and provided with more information.
